Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain (born 1 October 1946)[1] is a Bangladesh Nationalist Party politician and geologist.

His father was Khandaker Ashraf Ali and his mother was Hosne Ara Hasna Hena.

He obtained the PhD degree in geology in 1973 from University of London and DIC from Imperial College in 1974.

[1] Hossain joined the University of Dhaka faculty as a junior lecturer in the Department of Geology in 1967.

[1] Hossain has been a member of the Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)[4] since 1994.
