At a young age, Hubbi memorized the Quran and then studied Fiqh, Hadith, Persian Language and literature.
His Framing of Verses and poetry was matured under Shaykh Yaqub Sarfi.
Every year on 19th of Dhu al-Hijjah his urs is celebrated in the Aastan Khawaja Habibullah nowshehri.
[4] The resting place of Hubbi as a shrine, is located in the locality of Nowshera, Srinagar.
The Masjid(Masjid Hubbi) is situated adjacent to the Astaan(shrine) which was built in early 1900’s by Haji Nooruddin Bazaz and Haji Aziz Malik, both being prominent businessmen of the locality.
