Khovis (Persian: خويس)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Karkha Rural District of Shavur District, Karkheh County, Khuzestan province, Iran.

[4] At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,451 in 459 households, when it was in Shavur Rural District of Shush County.

[5] The following census in 2011 counted 4,067 people in 946 households.
