Kila, Montana

Kila is a census-designated place and unincorporated community in Flathead County, Montana, United States.

Originally called Sedan by the Great Northern Railway when homesteaders settled the area in 1892, the name was changed after William Kiley when Kiley filed for a post office in 1901.

[6] This climatic region is typified by large seasonal temperature differences, with warm to hot (and often humid) summers and cold (sometimes severely cold) winters.
