It follows the story of the Manuel Rodríguez Patriotic Front members as they develop a plan to kill the Chilean dictator in Cajón del Maipo in 1986, known as "Operación Siglo XX".
[1][2] The film is set in Chile during September 1986, a time when the country was enduring 13 years of dictatorship under Augusto Pinochet.
Feeling exhausted by the situation, Ramiro and Tamara gather their somewhat inexperienced comrades-in-arms to plan an assassination attempt against the dictator.
Kill Pinochet is Juan Ignacio Sabatini's [es] debut as a director of a fiction feature film.
