Kimberly Hutchings

Kimberly Hutchings is Professor of Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London.

She has extensively researched and published on international political theory in respect to Kantian and Hegelian philosophy, international and global ethics, Feminist theory and philosophy, and politics and violence.

Her work is influenced by the scholarly tradition that produced the Frankfurt School and Critical Theory.

Prior to moving to Queen Mary in the summer of 2014, she worked as Professor of International Relations at the London School of Economics, acting as Head of Department from 2010 to 2013.

Prior to that, she was a Lecturer in Philosophy in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Wolverhampton.
