[1] When bandy was played in Denmark between 1895 and 1924, KSF was the dominating club.

In 1894 the team built Søpavillionen (the Lake Pavilion) on the bank of Peblinge Sø to act as a club house.

The hockey team within Kjøbenhavns was founded in 1938 by Jørgen Hviid.

The team has won the Danish league title at least 10 times from 1956 to 1976.

Notable players for the team include Jørgen Hviid and Bent Hansen.
