Klaus J. Kohler (German pronunciation: [ˈklaʊs ˈkoːlɐ]; born 1935 in Karlsruhe) is a German phonetician.
[1][2] In 1964, he received a PhD from the University of Edinburgh for his thesis on “Aspects of the history of English pronunciation in Scotland”.
