Klub Kosova Hamburg

The club was founded in 1977 and currently plays in the Verbandsliga Hamburg,[2] the sixth tier of German football.

The club was established to provide a community-based football team for the Kosovar diaspora in the city.

They were promoted to the Kreisliga in their first year, but after the club withdrew in 1996, they had to play in the Kreisklasse again in 1997/98.

Klub Kosova is thus the first Albanian-dominated club in Germany to be promoted to the highest league in its regional association.

The club's home ground is the Sportplatz Slomanstraße[5] in Hamburg, which has a capacity of 3,000.
