Knife Lake Township, Kanabec County, Minnesota

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 31.8 square miles (82 km2), of which 30.7 square miles (80 km2) is land and 1.1 square miles (2.8 km2) (3.61%) is water.

At the 2020 census,[1] there were 1,212 people, 488 households, and 359 families residing in the township.

There were 649 housing units at an average density of 21.1 per square mile (8.1/km2).

The racial make-up of the township was 96.20% White, 0.33% African American, 0.41% Native American, 0.58% Asian, 0.33% from other races and 2.15% from two or more races.

18.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
