Kolej Tuanku Ja'afar (KTJ) is a premier international school located in Mantin, Seremban District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia, catering to students aged 3 to 19 years.
Founded in 1989 by members of the Negeri Sembilan Royal Family, KTJ was established with the vision of integrating the strengths of a British-style boarding education with the vibrancy of Malaysian culture.
Initial funding came from 17 Malaysian companies that supported the school's vision, leading to the construction of its facilities.
[9] KTJ operates as a not-for-profit organization governed by a Board of Trustees responsible for the school’s strategic direction and financial management.
[10] The school has initiated Vision 2030, a strategic plan designed to enhance KTJ’s status as a leading educational institution in Southeast Asia.
