Komorowo [kɔmɔˈrɔvɔ] (formerly German Kummerow) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Polanów, within Koszalin County, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, in north-western Poland.
[1] It lies approximately 12 kilometres (7 mi) north of Polanów, 31 km (19 mi) east of Koszalin, and 162 km (101 mi) north-east of the regional capital Szczecin.
In the 10th century, the region became part of the emerging Polish state under its first historic ruler Mieszko I.
During World War II, a forced labour subcamp of the Nazi prison in Koszalin was operated by the Germans in the village.
