The Korea Office of Civil Aviation (KOCA) (Korean: 항공정책실; Hanja: 航空政策室) is the South Korean civil aviation authority.
[1] It is subordinate to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT).
[3] As of 2013 the Deputy Minister of the Office of Civil Aviation is Dr. Choi Jeong-ho.
[4] On August 31, 1963 the Ministry of Construction and Transportation (MOCT) Aviation Bureau was formed.
[6] In 2013, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT) was reorganized, and the Korea Office of Civil Aviation (KOCA) became its subordinate agency, overseeing civil aviation matters in South Korea.
