Korytnica[2][3][4] [kɔrɨtˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Szydłów, within Staszów County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, in south-central Poland.

It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) north-east of Szydłów, 11 km (7 mi) north-west of Staszów, and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Kielce.

[5] According to the 2002 Poland census, there were 250 people residing in Korytnica village, of whom 52% were male and 48% were female.

In the village, the population was spread out, with 21.2% under the age of 18, 36.8% from 18 to 44, 20.4% from 45 to 64, and 21.6% who were 65 years of age or older.
