Krzysztof Stanowski (born April 12, 1959, in Lublin) is a Polish civic leader and educator.

[6] Stanowski was the co-founder and leader of various NGOs, including Education for Democracy Foundation, the Zagranica Group - Polish Non-Governmental Development Cooperation Organisations' Platform,[7] as well as a member of Steering Committee of the World Movement for Democracy.

[8][9] He is an experienced trainer and educator active in Poland, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.

[10] In the years 2007-2010 he was the under-secretary of state in the Ministry of National Education (Poland) responsible for international cooperation, the promotion of the Polish language abroad, and contacts with the NGO sector.

[12] Between the years 2010-2012 he was an undersecretary of state at the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for development cooperation.
