Kyle Alan Larsen (January 2, 1950 – August 21, 2012)[1] was a professional American bridge player.
[3] He was born in San Francisco, California – the son of two tournament bridge players[4] – and lived in the Bay Area until his death.
[1] At the age of 15 he became the youngest ACBL Life Master at that time;[4] when he won Reisinger Board-a-Match Teams in 1968, aged 18, he was the youngest player ever to win a major North American title.
[4] Larsen was elected to the ACBL Hall of Fame by his peers in 2012, announced in April.
[3] Larsen died in August 2012 after a long battle with prostate cancer.
