Lương Tam Quang (Vietnamese pronunciation: [lɨəŋ˧˧ taːm˧˧ kwaːŋ˧˧]; born 17 October 1965) is a Vietnamese politician and police officer who has served as the Minister of Public Security since 6 June 2024 and as a member of the Politburo since 16 August 2024.

[1][2] Lương Tam Quang was born on October 17, 1965, in Hiệp Cường commune, Kim Động district, Hưng Yên province.

He later served as an assistant to the Deputy Minister of Public Security, the ministry’s Deputy Chief of Staff, and its Chief of Staff cum Spokesperson.

In January 2022, he was promoted to the rank of Colonel General.

In January 2021, he was elected to the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party.
