Lazarus Walter Macior (August 26, 1926 Yonkers - October 5, 2007) was an American botanist.
[1] He served in World War II as a Japanese linguist.
He became a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Assumption, in 1956.
He was a Faculty Research Associate at the University of California, Davis, in 1984.
[2] A scholarship at the University of Akron was named for him.
