La Banquise is a restaurant in Montreal, Quebec, Canada which specializes in the dish of poutine.

It was originally an ice cream shop, although it became a snack bar later in the year and served mostly hot dogs and French fries.

From 1994 to 2023 the restaurant was owned by Barsalou's daughter Annie and her husband Marc Latendresse.

On his television program, No Reservations, American chef Anthony Bourdain recommended La Banquise as one of his favourite meals in Montreal.
