La Manche Provincial Park, is a provincial park located 53 kilometers south of St. John's along Route 10 (Irish Loop Drive), on the island of Newfoundland, in the Canadian Province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
[2] The Flamber Head Path continues for 11.5km from the resettled La Manche Village to Brigus South.
There was a small Roman Catholic church and a school located in the community, as well as a suspension bridge which crossed the inlet.
La Manche was abandoned after a winter storm on 28 January 1966 which demolished the community's network of wharves and stages and collapsed the suspension bridge.
