Lahja Ishitile

[2] In 2011, at Namibia's National Paralympic Championships in Windhoek, Ishitile won three gold medals in the 100m, 200m and 400m events.

The following year, she was on the Namibian team for the Zone 6 Youth Games in Lusaka, Zambia, where she again won threefold medals.

[2] In 2015, Ishitile won a bronze medal at the African Games in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo in the 100m event.

[2] At the IPC Athletics 2015 World Championships in Doha, Qatar, Ishitile competed in the Women's 400m, 200m, and 100m races, all in the T11 category.

[3] At the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships in Paris, Ishitile won silver in the women's T11 400m final.

[14] Ishitile was named Sportswoman of the Year with a Disability at the Namibian Sports Awards multiple times, including in 2017, 2019, 2022, and 2023.
