Lake Elmo, Minnesota

Lake Elmo is a city in Washington County, Minnesota, United States.

After the city lost a lawsuit against the Metropolitan Council, a regional planning authority, the Minnesota Supreme Court in 2005 ordered that it had to compile a plan in accordance with the Council's regional development guide.

It is a Superfund site due to TCE contamination of a groundwater aquifer used for local drinking water.
