Lakshmi Parvathi

Lakshmi Parvathi (born 14 September 1955) is an Indian politician from the state of Andhra Pradesh and widow of N. T. Rama Rao.

She successfully contested from the Pathapatnam Assembly constituency as an MLA representing NTRTDP (LP) with the support of the Bharatiya Janata Party.

[5] In 1996 Indian general election in Andhra Pradesh, the party fielded candidates in 42 Lok Sabha constituencies from Andhra Pradesh, securing 3,249,267 votes in the elections but failing to win any seats.

Subsequently, Parvathi resigned as the president of NTRTDP (LP) and joined the YSR Congress Party.

[9] She made her acting debut in the 2021 film Radhakrishna, which was about the traditional handicraft of Koyya dolls.
