The township contains these seven cemeteries: Barbee, East Union, Green, Higgins, Kitchell, Neathery and Oak Grove.

As of the 2020 census[2] there were 1,887 people, 876 households, and 569 families residing in the township.

There were 945 housing units at an average density of 18.38 per square mile (7.10/km2).

31.20% of all households were made up of individuals, and 13.20% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
