Langdon, Kansas

Langdon is a city in Reno County, Kansas, United States.

[5] In 1887, the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska Railway built a main line from Herington through Langdon to Pratt.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.12 square miles (0.31 km2), all of it land.

[7] The 2020 United States census counted 39 people, 6 households, and 5 families in Langdon.

[9] The 2016-2020 5-year American Community Survey estimates show that the median household income was $41,750 (with a margin of error of +/- $10,768).

40.0% of all households were made up of individuals, and 25% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.

There were 22.2% of families and 24.2% of the population living below the poverty line, including 44.4% of under eighteens and none of those over 64.

The community is served by Fairfield USD 310 public school district, which is located about 1 mile north of the city.

Before the creation of USD 310, the old Langdon High School mascot was the Owls.
