Larry Enoch Trujillo Sr. (August 9, 1940 – November 17, 2022) was a Democratic politician and public official from Colorado, U.S.
However, he didn't complete his second term in the senate, for he resigned on May 1, 1993, to take a job with the Colorado State Parole Board.
[2] Trujillo's legislative efforts led to the creation of the San Carlos Correctional Facility in Pueblo and the Spanish Peaks Veterans Community Living Center at Walsenburg.
Also, around this time, President Bill Clinton appointed him to chair the Arkansas River Compact.
Later he served as executive director of the Colorado Department of Personnel and Administration under Governor Bill Owens.
