Lars-Henrik Paarup Michelsen (born 23 April 1981) is a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.
Michelsen hails from Austevoll municipality in Hordaland on the south-western coast of Norway.
He has served his civilian service for Bergen Turlag, a member organization of the Norwegian Trekking Association.
[1] As of 2005[update], Michelsen worked towards modernising the Young Liberals by introducing blogging, house-visiting and telephone-calling to get a more direct contact with the politicians.
As of February 2010[update] he is also the leader of the cross political campaign Stopp Datalagringsdirektivet (fighting to reject EU's Data Retention Directive) and works for the Norwegian Data Inspectorate.
