Lateefah Durosinmi

Lateefah Moyosore-Oluwa Adunni Durosinmi was born on 7 July 1957, on Lagos Island in Nigeria.

Her father Late Alhaji Tijani Akanni Kolawole Williams was a sales manager and her mother was Madam Wusamot Abeni Kareem.

[1] Durosinmi attended the University of Ibadan and gained a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry in 1979.

[1] Durosinmi began her career with the Lagos Water Corporation, then taught chemistry at Saint Anne’s School in Ibadan.

[4] In 2019, Professor Ashiata Bolatito Lanre-Abbas, who was the first female Muslim Professor at the University of Ibadan, gave the sixth Lateefah Moyosore Durosinmi Foundation lecture concerning economic recession at Obafemi Awolowo University.
