Laura Resnick (born August 17, 1962)[1] is an American fantasy writer.

[2] The daughter of science fiction author Mike Resnick, she formerly wrote romance novels under the pseudonym Laura Leone.

She graduated from Georgetown and studied acting at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
