Laurence Joseph "Laurie" Maher OAM is the former mayor of Gosford City Council[2] and the former CEO of Coast Shelter, a non-profit homelessness service assisting people in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, Australia.
Maher founded Coast Shelter in 1992 and held the position of CEO until his retirement in July 2018.
