Lawrence Gubow

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Gubow received an Artium Baccalaureus degree from the University of Michigan in 1940.

He was Commissioner of the Michigan Corporations and Securities Commission from 1953 to 1961.

He was United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan from 1961 to 1968.

[1] Gubow was nominated by President Lyndon B. Johnson on August 2, 1968, to a seat on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan vacated by Judge Wade H. McCree.

His service was terminated on March 26, 1978, due to his death.
