Lawrence L. Lamade

Lawrence Lewis Lamade[1] (born April 12, 1947)[2] is a United States lawyer who was General Counsel of the Navy from 1988 to 1989.

Lawrence Lamade was born in Manhattan, New York City[3] and raised in Maryland.

Upon leaving the Navy, he attended the Georgetown University Law Center and received a J.D.

After law school, Lamade joined Baker & Hostetler as an associate attorney.

In 2000, he became a partner at Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld, where his practice has focused on employee benefits
