Lawrence Leo Graner

[1] Graner was born on April 3, 1901, in Franklin, Venango County, in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

He was the second son of William Bernard Groner and his wife Martha Emily Coxson.

Three years later It was elevated to Metropolitan Archdiocese by Pope Pius XII and he became its archbishop.

In November 1967, he resigned from the post and then he was appointed Titular Archbishop of Vazari-Didda.

[3] He died on April 21, 1982, at Notre Dame in St. Joseph County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.
