They were named in 2009 as one of the top unsigned bands by PureVolume,[1] and won an MTV Video Music Award in 2009 for Best Breakout Bay Area Artist.
Picture Me Broken was formed in 2005[4] by lead singer and keyboardist Layla Brooklyn Allman[5] and bassist Austin Dunn.
After several member changes and evolving style, the band settled into its new name, Picture Me Broken.
In December 2012, the band released a 4-song EP (Mannequins), produced by David Bendeth.
Picture Me Broken was the sole opening act for the Alice Cooper / Marilyn Manson Masters of Madness – Shock Therapy nationwide tour which began in June 2013 and ended on July 21, 2013.
