Le Monstre

Le Monstre (French for "The Monster") is a wooden roller coaster at La Ronde amusement park in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

[1] Standing at 39.9 meters (130.9 ft) tall, Le Monstre is the second-tallest roller coaster in the park behind Goliath.

It includes a hard first drop, airtime hills and has a top speed of 59.7 miles per hour (96.1 km/h).

This allows riders to "float" during airtime because the seatbelt does not come down to the seat even when fully tightened.

New trains built by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters were added in 2013.
