He first achieved recognition for his short horror film Ghost Train (2013), which won the Méliès d'Argent and was featured in the 2016 anthology Minutes Past Midnight.

[1] Continuing to work in the horror genre, he made his feature directorial debut with The Hole in the Ground (2019).

[4][5] In June 2024, he signed on to write and direct a new adaptation of The Mummy for Blumhouse Productions, Atomic Monster, and New Line Cinema.
