Lee Galloway

Lee Galloway (November 29, 1871 – January 31, 1962)[1][2] was an American educator, publisher, and organizational theorist.

[3] He was Professor in the School of Finance and Commerce at the New York University, and co-founders of The National Association of Corporation Schools,[4] predecessor of the American Management Association.

[6] In 1918 he was appointed Professor of Commerce and Industry, and in 1919 head of its department of business management.

In 1920 he founded and became director of the school of retailing financed by the leading department stores of New York City.

He was consulting editor for a series Department Store Merchandise Manuals at Ronald Press in 1917, editor of the Administration Magazine and member of the Advisory Council of the Journal of Business.
