Leeds Discovery Centre

Leeds Discovery Centre is the purpose-built display storage facility[1] built for Leeds Museums & Galleries in 2007.

[3] The facility stores over one million objects in climate-controlled conditions and hosts regular tours.

[4] Collections stored here include: natural science specimens,[5] social history (including historic board games),[6] textiles, world cultures and archaeology (including Anglo-Saxon sculpture).

[7] Objects from different collections areas are displayed alongside each other to maximize visual impact.

[9] The Discovery Centre runs events including art classes.
