Legend is a 1958 Australian play by Ric Throssell.

[1] Its original production was sponsored by the Elizabethan Theatre Trust.

[6] Leslie Rees said the production "made a marked impact, mainly because of its pathos and delicacy rather than because of dramatic conflicts or thematic conclusiveness.

One of the guests is a minister of foreign affairs from one of the Eastern European countries.
