They were founded in 1930,[1] as part of the multi-sports club, by members of the Polish Socialist Party[2] under the name Workers' Sports Club The Reds (Polish: Robotniczy Klub Sportowy Czerwoni).

It was one of the few clubs that continued to play during the World War II.
