Lek-Heng Lim (Chinese: 林力行[1]) is a Singaporean mathematician.
[2] Lim started his teaching career at the University of California, Berkeley,[1] where he served as Charles Morrey Assistant Professor.
[3][4] While affiliated with Chicago, Lim won the James H. Wilkinson Prize in Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing[5][6] and Stephen Smale Prize [fr] in 2017,[7] followed by the 2020 Hans Schneider Prize in Linear Algebra.
[8] In 2020, Lim was also elected a fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
[9] Lim was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in April 2022.
