Leo Tallaksen

Leopold (Leo) Tallaksen (19 June 1908 – 18 November 1983) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.

His younger brother, Edvard Tallaksen was ambushed by German provocateurs during World War II—in Oslo.

[2] He then spent periods of time abroad, to learn the trade in the family business, wholesaling.

From 1943 to 1945, he was imprisoned by the German occupants of Norway in Sachsenhausen concentration camp in Germany.

Tallaksen was a Knight of the Royal Norwegian Order of St. Olav and the Legion of Honour.
