Clement Leslie Foxcroft, (C. 1918/1919 - 24 June 2004) professionally known as Les Foxcroft and credited also as Lester Foxcroft[1] was an Australian character actor with a career spanning over 50 years, working in all major facets of the industry from stage, radio, television and film.
His mother died when he was three and his father who was a South African war veteran who was wounded at Galliopolli remarried.
He started his career in theatre in the 1940s, later moved on to television debuting with the Captain Fortune Show in 1959.
His TV career continued in Brisbane and then back to Sydney, appearing in a large number of productions.
He expanded into film, including a main role in The Roly Poly Man.
