At age 17, he was invited to star in one of the main roles of the film Kin-dza-dza!.
He graduated from the workshop of Shota Rustaveli Theatre and Film University, specialized in acting and set design.
[2] In 1990, he entered the University of California (UCLA) (Los Angeles) in the Faculty of Design and Animation.
[3] In 2010, he made his first feature film Lucky Trouble which won the audience award "Golden Taiga" in the festival "Spirit of Fire" in Khanty-Mansiysk in February 2011.
