James Lewis Morton (September 4, 1920 – May 30, 1996) was a professional baseball player who played from 1946 to 1959.
Though he spent eight full seasons at Triple-A and hit over 230 home runs, he never reached the major leagues.
He began his professional career in the St. Louis Cardinals system, hitting 12 home runs.
He joined the Triple-A Toronto Maple Leafs in 1951, with whom he would spend most of the rest of his career.
He later scouted for 30 years, working for the Los Angeles Dodgers (1970–1995) as well as the New York Yankees and Washington Senators.
