Lewis Henry Isaacs (3 January 1830 – 17 October 1908) was an English architect and surveyor and a Conservative Party politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1885 to 1892.
[1] He was surveyor to Holborn Board of Works and for the Society of Gray's Inn for whom he designed rooms.
[4][5] He was a Fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects, and a Member of the Society of Arts.
He employed a nursery governess, Elizabeth Vincent, from 1878 to 1881, and after his wife's death in 1882 he reestablished contact with her.
In 1890 an incident occurred when she demanded money and Isaacs was shot in the arm.
