Li Jiating (Chinese: 李嘉廷; pinyin: Lǐ Jiātíng; born 1944) is an ethnic Yi People's Republic of China politician.
[1] He was mayor of Harbin, Heilongjiang and governor of his home province.
[2][3] In 2001, he was arrested on suspicion of a crime and sentenced to death with a reprieve for corruption.
[1] On 16 September 2001, Wang Xiao committed suicide by hanging herself in the bathroom at home.
[1] Li Bo was also sentenced to 15 years in prison for his involvement in the case.
