[4] It helped provide a safe haven for drunks and vulnerable people in Middlesbrough, designed to relieve pressure on the casualty department at James Cook University Hospital, freeing up A&E professionals to deal with emergencies.

[5] In December 2014, Manchester Mental Health and Social Care Trust won a contract to lead health services at HM Prison Manchester and HM Prison Buckley Hall in Rochdale.

[6] Paul Flowers chaired Lifeline until 2014, when asked to resign over excessive expenses claims.
