Music has been always a part of her family[1] and she is known for singing Christian themed songs in Spanish.

[4] In 2006 she released an album titled "Sobrevivire" which saw one of her songs being sung by Aline Barros in Portuguese.

[4] Goodman married David Hegwood in 2007 and set up a production company with her husband.

She lives in Dallas, Texas with her two children, and is a worship pastor and artist in residence at Gateway Church in nearby Southlake.
