Linda Coleman (born July 12, 1949) is an American politician from the state of North Carolina.
[1] Before serving in the North Carolina House of Representatives, Coleman was a Wake County Commissioner for four years, and worked as human resources management director at the State Departments of Agriculture and Administration and as personnel director for the Department of Community Colleges.
[2] In her first term, she served as chair of her freshman class in the North Carolina House Democratic Caucus.
Coleman was the Democratic nominee for North Carolina's 2nd congressional district in the 2018 general election.
